Student Council is a select group of students
chosen from each homeroom at the end of the first six week period. The Student
Council member and alternate must have at least a 70 in each class each six
weeks and must not have a “P” or “U” in conduct during any grade reporting
period to be accepted and remain in Student Council. A Student Council member
who is placed in SAC or suspended from school will be removed permanently from
the organization immediately after the discipline consequence is given. The
Student Council meets to help the school with community and school projects
during the year. The major activities during the year are the Winter Community
Project, Fall Dance, Toy Drive, and Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week Luncheon.
