Central Region Spelling Bee Winner

On February 13, at the Central Region Office

Trahara Punch, a 6^th grader representing Clifton became the Central Region Spelling Bee winner. She went up to Round 13, and her winning word is hygiene.

Trahara will represent HISD in the Houston Chronicle Spelling Bee which will be held in March. The winner in the Houston Chronicle Spelling Bee will then compete in the National Bee in Washington D.C.
