Clifton Students Visit the Deborah Duncan Show
Ms. Duncan, herself, began thinking of a career early in her life. Raised in a military family, Deborah used her interviewing skills early in life to make new friend each time the family moved. While in high school, her drama teacher urged Deborah to pursue broadcasting as a career. Deborah enrolled at the University of Texas in Austin and ultimately earned a degree in Radio-Television-Film. While the recipient of many local and national awards for broadcasting excellence in addition to recognition for community service, Deborah Duncan is a wonderful example of a career that began early in her educational experience.
Clifton Middle School understands the importance of emphasizing career exploration during the crucial years of middle school. Clifton will continue an emphasis on careers through the annual College and Career Night on March 8.
