The Girls Exploring Engineering (GEE) project allows Clifton Magnet/GT girls to experience an informal, non-competitive learning environment that includes hands-on activities utilizing various engineering principles. Students will participate in class projects that will develop concepts in science, technology, engineering, and math.
The students will:

• Learn to work together, increase communication skills and presentation abilities
• Learn and experiment with forces affecting structures
• Investigate concepts related to the properties of materials
• Construct simple solar vehicles
• Design an egg drop vehicle
• Write syntax-based programs in Interactive C for student built VEX and Lego robots
• Participate in Robotics and Design competition based projects
• Participate in field trips
