Being a cheerleader at Clifton Middle School is an honor and a special privilege. The cheerleader team represents Clifton by promoting good sportsmanship, good citizenship, and a positive school spirit.

Cheerleaders should exemplify both individual and group behavior suitable to their position and in accordance with the rules as stated in the HISD Student Code of Conduct.

Cheerleaders are expected to maintain high standards in academic performance and behavior. Members of the cheerleader team have a fundamental responsibility to play a leadership role in building teamwork and helping the school achieve its goals and objectives.

All 2007-2008 cheerleaders must maintain grades of 70 or above and a conduct grade of S or above on each report card during the 2007-2008 school year.
