Grab A Bean Bag, A Good Book, And Enjoy  Reading!

Accelerated Reader is a computerized literature program that motivates children to read more books thereby becoming more proficient readers.  It is as easy as 1-2-3!

1.  Students select a book.  All Accelerated Reader books in Clifton’s Library are marked with a black dot or a blue and white Accelerated Reader label.

2.  Students read book selected.

 3.  Students take a multiple-choice test on the computer.

This program provides students with an instant score.  Students get immediate feedback which is an important motivator.

Monthly prizes are awarded to those students who take and pass Accelerated Reader tests.   So grab a bean bag, a good book, and enjoy  some time reading!
