Clifton Middle School Science Department is excited about the 2010-2011 school year. The Science department consists of an awesome team of caring, knowledgeable, creative, flexible and highly motivated professionals. Our focus this year is rigor, relevance, and relationships. We are a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) school. The goal is to have every student actively involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

This year we will introduce our students to several project based learning initiatives. Sixth graders will participate in the Get Hip to the Habitat, Seventh graders will participate in Eco-Houston and eighth graders will collaborate with Artist Boat to study the Galveston Bay Ecosystem.
