The GEE project allows Clifton Magnet/GT girls to
experience an informal, non-competitive learning environment that includes
hands-on activities utilizing various engineering principles. Students will
participate in class projects that will develop concepts in science, technology,
engineering, and math.
The students will:
Learn to work together, increase
communication skills and presentation abilities
Learn and experiment with forces
affecting structures
Investigate concepts related to the
properties of materials
Construct simple solar vehicles
Design an egg drop vehicle
Write syntax-based programs in
Interactive C for student built VEX and Lego robots
Participate in Robotics and Design
competition based projects
